FAQ
Quick answers before you dive in.
What is InkPatterns?
A library of tattoo ideas for women where every design is previewed on the body area it was drawn for, organized by placement, style, motif and size so you can compare like with like.
Are the previews real tattoos?
They are placement mockups: the design rendered on the body so you can judge scale and position. Your artist sets the final size and adapts the linework to your skin.
Can I download a design?
Designs with finished high-resolution and stencil-ready files show a one-time purchase button on their page. Other designs can be saved as a reference to bring to your artist.
I have never had a tattoo. Where should I start?
Start with the first tattoo hub and the placement guides. Forearm and thigh are the most forgiving first placements; hands, fingers and the spine are better as a second or third piece.
